Nomination Information

The Nomination Period starts on Friday the 29th of March and lasts till the 15th of April. This period is when you can submit your nomination.

Any Student who is an Undergraduate, Postgraduate, or Research Student can nominate for a role.

Student Roles will require you to be studying in the 2024/2025 Academic Year.

Sabbatical (full time) roles will require you to take either a year out of your studies or following graduation.

You will need to submit your nomination to the returning officer, Marie Green at m.green@rcs.ac.uk within the Nomination Period.

You need to have 2 Students nominate you for the role (these can be friends or peers) and their names should be listed on the form.

You can only be nominated for one role during a single election.

Once your nomination has been submitted, you will have confirmation from the Returning Officer on the 15th of April that you are a candidate and can start campaigning from the 16th of April.

If you are interested in running as a candidate you may want to start planning your campaign before the campaign period!

Please keep in mind that you cannot campaign before the 16th and your nomination has been confirmed by the Returning Officer.
