April

— We’ve got the pool table recovered and bought new cues and balls!

— We’ve purchased a fridge for the Pantry in the Renfrew campus, as there was one in Wallace but not here. The Pantry is in the northernmost corridor of the building, near the AGOS Foyer on the ground floor. You can find a microwave, sink, and cupboards to store food in there as well :)

— As part of The Orchard Project, Dale (founder) and Ulysse cleaned the Savoy Centre stairs! And if you smoke, we strongly encourage you to do so there instead of on the RCS stairs (you risk getting fined by the police otherwise! And the staff working on the upper floors of RCS don’t have to breathe cigarette smoke all day).

— Bridge Week applications are now open! See email sent by Ulysse on Monday 29th April for more info.

— SU Elections results are out! Dale Thrupp will be your next SU Vice President, Ulysse Tonnelé-Verjus your next President, and Avina Shah your next Events Officer.

March

— We’ve greatly expanded the website and added four more sections: “Your SU”, “Latest news”, “EDI” and “Societies”.

— The new RCS Feminist Society (FemSoc) has been created! You can find them on Instagram @rcsfemsoc.

— The new Yoga Club has been created! Get in touch with Ellie at EDonald1@rcs.ac.uk for any info :)

— All Asimut screens are now functional! The few remaining glitches will be fixed before Term 3.

February

— The SU now has a mix of exclusive and shared access to several TV screens in both campuses, so we’ll be able to communicate with yous a lot more effectively!

— Slides for LGBT History Month are now up on the TV screens in RCS to celebrate Queerness and teach our community about its history.

— 156 new music stands have been ordered and allocated to all the rooms in the Renfrew building based on the needs of each, so you shouldn’t struggle to find stands for your rehearsals anymore!
